Ex-President Buhari Distanced Himself From APC, Refused Attending Northwest Stakeholders’ Meeting Despite Residing In Kaduna – Senator Lawal Adamu Raises Alarm

Senator Lawal Adamu Usman, who represents Kaduna Central, has claimed that former President Muhammadu Buhari deliberately distanced himself from the All Progressives Congress (APC) by refusing to attend the party’s Northwest stakeholders’ meeting held recently in Kaduna.

Speaking on the sidelines of the meeting, Senator Usman noted that despite Buhari being in Kaduna at the time, he chose not to participate in the event. “He was at home performing Nafila prayers while leaders of the APC gathered in the same city,” the Senator stated.

The APC’s Northwest meeting was a major political gathering intended to address key regional issues and strengthen internal party unity.

Senator Usman’s comments have sparked fresh debates about the former president’s current relationship with the ruling party he helped bring to power.

As of the time of filing this report, there has been no official response from Buhari or his aides regarding the claims.
