 China, Russia, Iran warships arrive in South Africa for military exercises Chinese, Russian and Iranian warships arrived in South African waters for a week of naval drills starting Friday off the coast of Cape Town. The Chinese-led drills were organized last year under the BRICS bloc of developing nations and South Africa's armed forces said they will bring members of the bloc together to practice maritime safety and anti-piracy operations and “deepen cooperation.” China, Russia and South Africa are longtime members of BRICS, while Iran joined the group in 2024. It was not immediately clear if other countries from the BRICS group — which also includes Brazil, India and the United Arab Emirates among others — would take part in the drills. A spokesperson for the South African armed forces said he wasn't yet able to confirm all the countries participating in the drills, which are due to run until next Friday. FGSHLB PARTNERS WITH MOFI ON PROVISION OF HOUSING LOANS TO PUBLIC SERVANTS 


In line with its mandate to provide housing loans to federal public servants, the Federal Government Staff Housing Loans Board (FGSHLB) has announced its partnership with the Ministry of Finance Incorporated ( MOFI) on the provision of housing loans to federal public servants. 


The partnership with MOFI is to offer housing loans to federal public servants up to Fifty Million Naira (N50m) at a higher single digit interest rate with a maximum repayment period of twenty five (25) years.


This was made public through a notice signed by Salamatu Ladi Ahmed, the Executive Secretary of the Loans Board, and dispatched to all the federal parastatals, military, para military, police and other interested agencies. 


This initiative is to encourage increased home ownership  among federal public servants, promote stability and security, and contribute to their overall well-being and job satisfaction. 


The notice advised all interested public servants to visit the Board’s office, located at 10th and 11th Floor of Block B Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation (OHCSF) for all enquiries.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.  Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
