 El-Rufai’s Eye Condition Worsening In ICPC Custody, Aide Alleges The media aide to former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, Muyiwa Adekeye, has expressed concern over what he described as the worsening eye condition of his principal while in the custody of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC). Adekeye also accused the anti-corruption agency of failing to provide El-Rufai with adequate medical care despite repeated complaints about his health. In a statement issued on Friday, Adekeye said the former governor had reported symptoms including swollen, red, and itchy eyes while in detention and had requested medical attention. According to him, family members who visited El-Rufai noticed the condition and alerted ICPC officials, urging them to allow him access to medical treatment. FGSHLB PARTNERS WITH MOFI ON PROVISION OF HOUSING LOANS TO PUBLIC SERVANTS 


In line with its mandate to provide housing loans to federal public servants, the Federal Government Staff Housing Loans Board (FGSHLB) has announced its partnership with the Ministry of Finance Incorporated ( MOFI) on the provision of housing loans to federal public servants. 


The partnership with MOFI is to offer housing loans to federal public servants up to Fifty Million Naira (N50m) at a higher single digit interest rate with a maximum repayment period of twenty five (25) years.


This was made public through a notice signed by Salamatu Ladi Ahmed, the Executive Secretary of the Loans Board, and dispatched to all the federal parastatals, military, para military, police and other interested agencies. 


This initiative is to encourage increased home ownership  among federal public servants, promote stability and security, and contribute to their overall well-being and job satisfaction. 


The notice advised all interested public servants to visit the Board’s office, located at 10th and 11th Floor of Block B Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation (OHCSF) for all enquiries.
