 LSPHCB, SCI COLLABORATE TO STRENGTHEN CHILD IMMUNISATION The Lagos State Primary Health Care Board (LSPHCB) hosted a high-level delegation from Save the Children International (SCI), led by Country Director, Mr. Duncan Harvey, during an official courtesy visit to the board on Thursday, 17th September 2026. The visit comes as part of Save the Children’s global leadership tour in Nigeria to evaluate the impact of the BOOST Project (Better Opportunities for Optimal Services and Targeted Immunisation for Zero-Dose and Under-Immunised Children) and to align on strategic priorities for child health across the state. Gospel singer Big Bolaji buried in Ibadan


Popular Nigerian gospel artiste, Bolaji Olanrewaju, popularly known as Big Bolaji, has been laid to rest in Ibadan, Oyo State, following his death on April 19 after a brief illness.

He was 50 years old.

The final rites began on Wednesday with a funeral service and lying-in-state held at the Hall of Grace, Jogor Centre, Ibadan.

The solemn event drew family members, close friends, and a host of fellow gospel singers who came to pay their last respects.

Among those in attendance were notable figures in the gospel music community, including Tosin Bee, Mike Abdul, Bidemi Olaoba, Yetunde Are, and popular comedian, Woli Agba.

Emotional moments captured on social media showed pallbearers carrying Bolaji’s flower-decked casket into the venue, as mourners gathered in silence.

A moving tribute video chronicling his musical journey and spiritual impact was played during the service, drawing tears and applause from attendees.

Following the service, the burial procession proceeded to All Souls Private Cemetery in Ido, Ibadan, where Big Bolaji was laid to rest.

His wife, siblings, and loved ones stood in quiet reflection as the singer was committed to the earth.
