 NDC STATEMENT ON COURT RULING Our attention has been drawn to a ruling by the Federal High Court sitting in Lokoja this morning, wherein His Lordship, Honourable Justice Isah Dashen, gave a ruling on an application filed by an unregistered association known as Peace Movement Party. The public knows that by December 2025, the Nigeria Democratic Congress  as an association complained of INEC’s refusal to register us as a political party, whereupon we proceeded to the Federal High Court. The Federal High Court upheld our constitutional right to freedom of association under the Constitution and compelled INEC to register us, which INEC did. Since then, we have started political activities, embarked on the registration of members, held congresses from ward to national levels, held conventions, and concluded primaries to all offices following INEC’s timetable.  GOVERNOR UZODIMMA PRIORITIZES RURAL DEVELOPMENT AS AMIRI–ATTA–NKUME ROAD PROJECT GAINS MOMENTUM


The ongoing rehabilitation of the Amiri–Atta–Nkume Road, a strategic route connecting Oru East to Njaba Local Government Area, is recording steady progress, underscoring Governor Hope Uzodimma’s commitment to rural development and infrastructure renewal in Imo State.


The project, which aims to significantly improve connectivity and ease of movement in the region, is advancing through critical phases. These include earthworks, stone base laying, drainage construction, and the installation of asphalt wearing courses — all progressing simultaneously to ensure a high-quality and resilient roadway.


With each milestone, the road brings improved access and economic opportunities closer to the communities along the corridor, aligning with the administration’s broader goal of boosting rural development and enhancing the quality of life for residents.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
