 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country.  JAMB Releases 2025 UTME Results, Withholds 39,834 Candidates’ Scores Over Malpractice


The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the release of the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results. JAMB Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, made the disclosure during a press briefing in Abuja on Friday, stating that over 1.9 million candidates participated in the examination nationwide.


Oloyede revealed that the results of 39,834 candidates are being withheld due to suspected examination malpractices. He added that 80 individuals are currently under interrogation for various forms of exam fraud, with Anambra State recording the highest number of suspects at 14. The registrar also noted that 467 underage candidates scored above the minimum cut-off mark, while 50 candidates have been linked to cheating so far.
