 NDC STATEMENT ON COURT RULING Our attention has been drawn to a ruling by the Federal High Court sitting in Lokoja this morning, wherein His Lordship, Honourable Justice Isah Dashen, gave a ruling on an application filed by an unregistered association known as Peace Movement Party. The public knows that by December 2025, the Nigeria Democratic Congress  as an association complained of INEC’s refusal to register us as a political party, whereupon we proceeded to the Federal High Court. The Federal High Court upheld our constitutional right to freedom of association under the Constitution and compelled INEC to register us, which INEC did. Since then, we have started political activities, embarked on the registration of members, held congresses from ward to national levels, held conventions, and concluded primaries to all offices following INEC’s timetable. “My uncle is the best Governor Osun ever had”- Davido brags

Nigerian music star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has publicly commended his uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke, for his leadership in Osun State.

Speaking during an appearance on the show Culture Knock Out (C.K.O), hosted by Chris and Baloo, Davido described Governor Adeleke as the most effective leader the state has ever had.

The singer acknowledged that some people doubted his uncle’s capabilities due to his well-known love for dancing. However, Davido emphasized that Governor Adeleke has silenced critics by delivering impressive results since taking office.

He said, “My uncle, the Dancing Governor is good vibes. He has an amazing story, he is the last born of my dad’s family. They [Osun people] never believed that he would become a governor.

“He is a real example of, ‘Don’t judge a book by its cover’; just because somebody likes to dance and have a good time, it doesn’t mean when it is time to work, he won’t. Now, he’s been the best Governor that they’ve ever had.”
