 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom. OLYMPIC GYMNASTICS ICON MARY LOU RETTON FACES DUI CHARGES AFTER A TROUBLING INCIDENT IN WEST VIRGINIA ON MAY 17. (PHOTO).

 Olympic gymnastics icon Mary Lou Retton faces DUI charges after a troubling incident in West Virginia on May 17. 

The 1984 gold medalist was found in her Porsche with a wine bottle in the passenger seat, reportedly slurring her words and failing field sobriety tests. This comes just over a year after her near-fatal pneumonia battle that left her fighting for her life in the ICU. 


The mother of four daughters has faced tremendous health challenges, and now this legal issue adds another layer of difficulty. It's a reminder that even our heroes struggle with personal battles. What are your thoughts on supporting public figures through their darkest moments?

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
