During Monday’s episode of the Today show, Rebecca, 60, revealed that she has been living with Parkinson’s since receiving her diagnosis in 2015, though the first warning signs appeared years earlier. Looking back, she said it all began around 2012 with a slight numbness in her left foot.  Simon Ekpa appears in Finnish court as terrorism trial begins


Finnish-Biafran separatist activist, Simon Ekpa, appeared before the Päijät-Häme District Court in Finland on Friday as his trial on terrorism-related charges formally commenced.


Ekpa, an advocate for the secession of Nigeria’s South-East region under the Biafra movement, was arrested in November 2024 by Finnish authorities. 


He faces allegations of inciting violence and financing terrorism through his activities and statements on social media.


Finnish prosecutors allege that Ekpa’s actions contributed to unrest in Nigeria’s South-East and are seeking a six-year prison sentence, arguing that his conduct may qualify as terrorism under Finnish law.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
