 “We Don’t Want Violent Politics In Kaduna,” Group Tells Political Parties, Urges Them to Call Supporters To Order The Kaduna Peace Ambassadors Forum has called on political parties in Kaduna State to caution their supporters and prevent further violence following recent clashes involving members of major political parties in the state. The group said Kaduna had enjoyed relative peace for a long period and should not return to an era of violent politics. In a statement, the forum expressed concern that political disagreements and clashes in the past had sometimes escalated into religious conflicts, with consequences for communities across the state. It therefore called on security agencies to take appropriate measures to identify and hold accountable those responsible for the recent clashes, while strengthening preventive measures to avoid a recurrence. TWO MEN SHOT DEAD IN THEKWANE SOUTH, MPUMALANGA. (PHOTO).

  Two Men Shot Dead in Thekwane South, Mpumalanga


Two men were shot and killed by unknown suspects in Thekwane South, Mpumalanga, earlier today. The incident is reported to have occurred around 12:00 midday.


When police arrived at the scene, they found a Toyota Yaris with its engine still running. Inside were the bodies of two men, aged 51 and 45, both from KaBhokweni. Police have confirmed the victims’ ages and hometown but say their identities cannot be released at this stage.


While police have not confirmed any links, some community members claim the vehicle matches the description of a Toyota Yaris that has allegedly been involved in a string of criminal activities in the area. 


According to these residents, the car has reportedly been used to pick up hitchhikers, who were then robbed and dumped in Thekwane South.


Police investigations are ongoing.
