Trump issues pardon to former Republican congressman Stephen Buyer after insider trading conviction    President Donald Trump has issued a full pardon to former Republican congressman Stephen Buyer, who served nearly two years in prison after being convicted of insider trading tied to post-congressional consulting work. Buyer was sentenced in 2023 to 22 months in prison for illegal stock trades made while working as a consultant and lobbyist. He was ordered to forfeit more than $350,000 in ill-gotten gains and pay a $10,000 fine. He was released from custody in 2025 after his conviction was upheld, with the Supreme Court declining to take up his appeal earlier this year.  Why I rejected Netflix’s ₦3 billion offer – Peller


Nigerian TikTok streamer and content creator Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, has stirred reactions online after revealing he once rejected a whopping N3 billion offer from Netflix for his girlfriend, Jarvis, to act in a kissing scene.

Peller made the sensational claim during a recent livestream chat with singer Peter Okoye of P-Square.

“Netflix offered 3 billion Naira to my girlfriend, Jarvis, to do a kissing scene, but I turned it down,” Peller said.

In disbelief, Peter asked for clarification: “Do you mean N3 million or N3 billion?”

“Three billion!” Peller insisted. “I know you might not believe me, but I have the record of the video call. I warned them never to contemplate such ever again. I love my baby. I don’t joke with my baby. She is my life.”

Peter responded supportively, saying, “Always look out for her.”
