 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary.  Zamalek Terminate Contract with Former Super Eagles Coach Jose Peseiro


Egyptian football powerhouse Zamalek SC announced on Wednesday the termination of their contract with head coach Jose Peseiro, formerly of Nigeria’s Super Eagles, following a mutual agreement. The decision comes in the wake of a 2-2 draw against National Bank, adding to the mounting pressure on the 65-year-old Portuguese tactician.


Peseiro, who joined Zamalek in February on a two-year deal, faced criticism after the club’s exit from the CAF Confederation Cup last month, where they were defeated 1-0 on aggregate by South Africa’s Stellenbosch. Domestically, Zamalek trail league leaders Pyramids FC by seven points, further intensifying scrutiny on Peseiro’s tenure.


In a statement on the club’s official website, Zamalek confirmed: “Zamalek and Jose Peseiro agree to end the relationship by mutual consent. We wish him the best in future.”


During his 17-match stint with the White Knights, Peseiro secured seven wins, eight draws, and two losses.
