 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom.  Zamalek Terminate Contract with Former Super Eagles Coach Jose Peseiro


Egyptian football powerhouse Zamalek SC announced on Wednesday the termination of their contract with head coach Jose Peseiro, formerly of Nigeria’s Super Eagles, following a mutual agreement. The decision comes in the wake of a 2-2 draw against National Bank, adding to the mounting pressure on the 65-year-old Portuguese tactician.


Peseiro, who joined Zamalek in February on a two-year deal, faced criticism after the club’s exit from the CAF Confederation Cup last month, where they were defeated 1-0 on aggregate by South Africa’s Stellenbosch. Domestically, Zamalek trail league leaders Pyramids FC by seven points, further intensifying scrutiny on Peseiro’s tenure.


In a statement on the club’s official website, Zamalek confirmed: “Zamalek and Jose Peseiro agree to end the relationship by mutual consent. We wish him the best in future.”


During his 17-match stint with the White Knights, Peseiro secured seven wins, eight draws, and two losses.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
