 STATEHOUSE PRESS STATEMENT PRESIDENT TINUBU'S MESSAGE OF CONDOLENCE TO CHIMAMANDA ADICHIE AND HER FAMILY   With a deep sense of grief, I condole with Ms Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, her husband, Dr Ivara Esege, and the entire family on the passing of their son, Nkanu Nnamdi.   As a parent myself who has suffered the loss of a loved one, no grief is as devastating as losing a child.   I empathise with the family at this difficult time, and I mourn this sad loss with them.   Ms Adichie is a literary icon who has brought joy and light to many homes globally, and I pray she and her family find strength in the Almighty in this trying hour.   My prayers are with the family.   Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Federal Republic of Nigeria January 8, 2026

A FLORIDA WOMAN HAS BEEN CHARGED IN HER 6-YEAR-OLD SON'S DEATH AFTER SHE ATTEMPTED AN "AT HOME EXORCISM". (PHOTO).

 A Florida woman has been charged in her 6-year-old son's death after she attempted an "at home exorcism". 


The St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office executed a welfare check at a home in Fort Pierce at 10 a.m., Friday, May 30th after a school resource officer called in to report Ra'myl Pierre had not been to school since May 14th.


Deputies visited the home and were met in the driveway by 41-year-old Rhonda Paulynice (pictured below) Rhonda escorted deputies inside of her home where they discovered little Ra'myl deceased in his bed. Deputies say Ra'myl's body was wrapped in a shroud with only his face exposed. They reported obvious signs of decomposition suggesting Ra'myl had been deceased at least for several days.


While questioning Rhonda, she confided in deputies that "God told her she must exorcize the demons from her son". She told deputies when Ra'myl eventually quit moving she knew the demon had left his body. She contended the last time they had spoken was May 18th and she was now awaiting his "return to the world". 


Rhonda Paulynice was taken into custody and is being charged with second degree murder, failure to report a death and altering a body.


There is no information on exactly how Ra'myl was killed or what he was forced to endure during those last awful days. It had to be truly awful. An autopsy is scheduled for Ra'myl over the weekend to help determine his exact cause of death.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
