Kaduna businessman drags ex fiancee’s father to court, demands dowry refund A businessman, Nasiru Dayyabu, on Wednesday, dragged the father of his ex-fiance, Mallam Sani Direba, to Shari’a Court II sitting at Magajin Gari, Kaduna over N260,000 dowry. The complainant had joined Direba in the suit against two brothers demanding a refund of N250, 000 dowry and N10,000 introduction money he paid to marry his daughter. A MAN AND A WONDERFUL MAN HAS BEEN ARRESTED AFTER AUTHORITIES LEARN THEY LEFT A 3-YEAR-OLD CHILD ALONE IN A BACKYARD SHED FOR WEEKS. (PHOTO).

A Georgia has been arrested after authorities learn they left a 3-year-old child alone in a backyard shed ....for weeks.

The Douglas County Sheriff's Office has arrested 35-year-old Joseph Turner and 34-year-old Sarah Pombert. The two are being charged with second-degree child cruelty.

These charges come after authorities learned the couple had forced 3-year-old, Bjorn Turner, to live in an outside shed which they described as a "dirty living space". According to deputies the shed had no running water or electricity.

The young child was kept in the backyard shed from May 1st to May 22nd according to court records. How truly awful.

There is no report how authorities became aware of the child's living situation, however it has been reported that the shed burned down over Memorial Day weekend. These incidents are most likely related.

Both Sarah Pombert and Joseph Turner are being held in the Douglas County Jail. The three year old is safe.

How dare you force a child live in a place with no electricity or water for 3 weeks!?
