  Chikun/Kajuru Rep, Hon. Fidelix Bagudu, Announces New Appointments To Strengthen Inclusive Governance The Honourable Member representing the Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency, Hon. Fidelix Joseph Bagudu, has announced a wide-ranging list of new appointments aimed at deepening inclusive governance and enhancing representation across the constituency. The appointments, which take immediate effect, were unveiled in alignment with Kaduna State Governor Senator Uba Sani’s commitment to participatory governance. According to the lawmaker’s office, the list reflects deliberate efforts to ensure fair representation of all wards, communities, and interest groups across Chikun and Kajuru Local Government Areas (LGAs). A statement issued by the Media and Publicity Directorate noted that the move also fulfills the Honourable Member’s campaign pledge to integrate every segment of the constituency into the decision-making and governance structure. A SURVIVOR OF LAST MONTHS DEADLY TORNADOES IN LONDON, KENTUCKY HAS TAKEN DOWN HER GOFUNDME ME AFTER A POLICE PROBE DELVES INTO THE VALIDITY OF THE CLAIMS.(PHOTO).

 A survivor of last months deadly tornadoes in London, Kentucky has taken down her GoFundMe me after a police probe delves into the validity of the claims.


Sierra Barnes took to social media, sharing a GoFundMe to help rebuild her family's lives after she alleged they suffered major setbacks in the aftermath of the storms.


Sierra claims she was heading home to London from Lexington after being at her mother-in-laws side as she passed away. Upon hearing of the tornado, Sierra said she turned around and headed back to the safety of Lexington.  


This act could possibly have saved her life as her home was actually destroyed in the storms.


 However, in Sierra's GoFundMe, she made claims that seem to have no basis in reality. 


Sierra claimed that her boyfriend who had been  working 12 hour days in the wake of the tornado was told by the city of London he was going to be laid off.


However this claim does not match with the reality of the situation.  Every employee of the city of London said they "never said they were laying anyone off, and are actually looking to hire additional employees."


After the probe by police uncovered Sierra's fraudulent claims, the GoFundMe has been taken down. I know everyone wants to pitch in and help people who are struggling afyer disasters, but before sending money you should always vet the validity of the recipients claims. This isn't the worst case we've ever seen. 


Sadly, her home was destroyed. Police are uncertain why she made fraudulent claims about her boyfriend's employment.
