 COURT RESTRAINS RESIDENT DOCTORS FROM EMBARKING ON STRIKE  The national industrial court Abuja division has restrained all members and agents of the national association of resident doctors from calling, directing, organizing, participating in, and embarking upon any form of industrial action.  Justice Emmanuel Danjuma Subilim gave the order in an interim injunction filed by the federal government through the office of the attorney general of the federation and minister of justice.  The court temporally barred members of the association from embarking on any form of strike, work stoppages, go-slows, picketing, or any other form of industrial protest or disruption. The association is equally restrained from taking steps preparatory to any form of industrial action from the 12th day of january, 2026. A TEXAS MAN ATTACKED HIS MOTHER WITH A HAMMER AND THEN TALKED ABOUT IT ON A GAMING PLATFORM. (PHOTO).


 A Texas man attacked his mother with a hammer and then talked about it on a gaming platform. 


24-year-old Robert Babin carried out a brutal attack on his mother on Wednesday, June 11th. After carrying out the attack, Babin allegedly took to an online gaming platform to confess to the crime and ask for advice.


According to court documents, Babin said he was "in trouble and needed help". He went on to say he hit his mother a few times on the side  of the head with a hammer and "didn't want to end up on death row". 


The friend advised Babin to call the police before he presumably contacting authorities himself. 


When officers arrived at the Harris County  Texas home, they discovered Babin's 64-year-old mother unresponsive and showing severe injuries on her head in the backyard. Robert was not home when police arrived but a short time later he arrived at the scene. He told police he had went to the store and his mother was napping before he left.


The 64-year-old victim was taken by helicopter to a nearby hospital where she remains in serious condition. 


We do hope she has a full recovery. 


Robert Babin was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He remains in custody.
