 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country. A TEXAS MAN ATTACKED HIS MOTHER WITH A HAMMER AND THEN TALKED ABOUT IT ON A GAMING PLATFORM. (PHOTO).

 A Texas man attacked his mother with a hammer and then talked about it on a gaming platform. 


24-year-old Robert Babin carried out a brutal attack on his mother on Wednesday, June 11th. After carrying out the attack, Babin allegedly took to an online gaming platform to confess to the crime and ask for advice.


According to court documents, Babin said he was "in trouble and needed help". He went on to say he hit his mother a few times on the side  of the head with a hammer and "didn't want to end up on death row". 


The friend advised Babin to call the police before he presumably contacting authorities himself. 


When officers arrived at the Harris County  Texas home, they discovered Babin's 64-year-old mother unresponsive and showing severe injuries on her head in the backyard. Robert was not home when police arrived but a short time later he arrived at the scene. He told police he had went to the store and his mother was napping before he left.


The 64-year-old victim was taken by helicopter to a nearby hospital where she remains in serious condition. 


We do hope she has a full recovery. 


Robert Babin was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He remains in custody.
