 Nonye Soludo Pays Follow-Up Visit to Recovering Child, Reaffirms Commitment to Child Protection By Chinyere Nwoye  The Wife of the  Anambra State Governor, Dr. Nonye Soludo, has paid another visit to young Chiziterem to monitor his recovery and encourage his family, expressing delight over the remarkable improvement in the child's health. Mrs. Soludo disclosed this in a post shared on her official social media page on June 22, where she noted that the young boy is now much stronger than he was during her previous visit. According to her, Chiziterem's steady recovery is a testament to the dedication and professionalism of the medical team handling his treatment, as well as the overwhelming love, prayers, and support received from compassionate individuals. She commended everyone who has continued to stand by the child and his family throughout the difficult period, stressing that their collective efforts have contributed significantly to his progress.  Anambra Court orders Life Imprisonment to Security Personnel Who Rap€d 17yr-old Girl Hawking “Okpa” At Upper Iweka.


One Mr Michael Okoi, aged 23, who on 11th May 2024 at a Filling Station along Onitsha – Asaba Expressway, Upper Iweka, allegedly had unlawful s€xual int€rcourse with a 17yr-old girl hawking “Okpa” at the area, offence contrary  to Section 3(2) of the Violence Against Persons (Prohibition and Protection) Laws of Anambra State, 2017, has been Sentenced to Life Imprisonment For taking advantage of the vulnerability of the “young naïve girl who was on a survival quest in this harsh economy to ravage her womanhood.


The Children, Sexual and Gender-based Violence Court sitting at Awka and presided over by Justice Peace Otti, sentenced the perpetrator, Michael, to life imprisonment on count 1, and fined him two hundred thousand naira each on counts 2 and 3


Reacting to this, the Anambra State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Professor Sylvia Ifemeje, has described this judgment as landmark the ‘life sentence judgement’ given in a case brought against a security personnel,


The Justice Commissioner noted that the judgement is one that sends a signal that the Governor Chukwuma Soludo administration has zero tolerance for all forms of gender-based violence in the state.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
