 Zango Kataf, Jaba PDP Committees Hold Reconciliation Meeting Ahead Of 2027 Elections The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Working Committees in Zango Kataf and Jaba Local Government Areas have held a strategic reconciliation meeting aimed at strengthening party unity and positioning the party for success in the 2027 general elections. The meeting, held on Friday, July 31, 2026, in Jaba Local Government Area, was jointly chaired by the PDP Chairmen of Jaba and Zango Kataf LGAs, Sabastine David Bijiri and Martins Markus Koyah. It brought together party executives, stakeholders, ward officials, elders, youth and women leaders, as well as members from both local government areas. Speaking at the meeting, the Zango Kataf PDP Chairman commended party leaders and members for supporting the zoning of the party’s House of Representatives ticket to Zango Kataf Local Government Area.  Arnold Schwarzenegger delivered a blistering critique of both political parties while discussing the ongoing ICE raids and protests in Los Angeles. 

Speaking at the red carpet premiere of his Netflix series "Fubar," the former Republican governor of California didn't mince words about the immigration crisis.


 "This is the result of Democrats and Republicans not being able to come together in this immigration reform," Schwarzenegger stated, adding that politicians have been avoiding the subject for decades because "it's an advantage to both parties to not do it."


 The Terminator star's most damning assessment? "They're all political hacks, party hacks, rather than public servants." He emphasized that proper immigration reform would eliminate the need for mass arrests and deportations currently happening across Los Angeles.


 Trump has deployed 2,000 National Guard troops to Los Angeles in response to the protests that erupted following the ICE raids, with an additional 2,000 troops and 700 Marines sent subsequently. Mayor Karen Bass has imposed a nightly curfew in downtown L.A. where most protests have been concentrated.
