 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom.  Assistant DHS Secretary TriciaOhio Responds Sharply to Kim Kardashian’s Criticism of Trump Immigration Policy


A top Department of Homeland Security official fired back at Kim Kardashian Wednesday after the reality TV star described Immigration and Customs Enforcement deportation raids as “inhumane.” 


“@KimKardashian, which one of these convicted child molesters, murderers, drug traffickers and rapists would you like to stay in the county?“ Assistant DHS Secretary Tricia McLaughlin wrote in an X post directed at the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star.


McLaughlin’s post included mugshots and violent profiles of four illegal migrants recently nabbed in ICE enforcement operations. 


Among them, were: Eswin Uriel Castro, a previously deported illegal immigrant with criminal convictions for child molestation, being armed with a dangerous weapon; Gerardo Antonio-Palacios, a Mexican national with previous convictions for homicide and burglary; Antonio Benitez-Ugarte, another illegal immigrant from Mexico with a prior drug trafficking conviction; and Mab Khleb, a 53-year-old illegal immigrant from Cambodia with a criminal history that includes conviction for possession and transport of a controlled substance, lewd action with a child and battery. 


“These are just a few of the convicted illegal criminals who have been picked up in the last 72 hours,” McLaughlin noted.
