 Nicole Kidman recalls the heartbreaking moment she found out her mom died Nicole Kidman has opened up about the heartbreaking moment she learned of her mother Janelle’s death just as she was about to accept a best actress award at the Venice International Film Festival.  The Babygirl star recalled being backstage when she received the news, saying she returned to her room “completely devastated” and unsure how she would move forward without her mother, who had been such a central part of her life. She described the “harrowing” attempt to leave Venice in the middle of the night to return to Australia, only to turn back, overwhelmed and alone.  Director Halina Reijn later read a statement on Kidman’s behalf, dedicating the award to Janelle and acknowledging the collision of art and life in that painful moment.  Bandits Hack Community Leader To Death On His Farm In Southern Kaduna


In a shocking and brutal attack, Mr. Moses Jarumi, a respected community leader, political activist, and prominent farmer, was hacked to death by suspected bandits on his farm in the early hours of Tuesday morning.


The tragic incident occurred in Kurmin Jama’a, a village in Kachia Local Government Area of Kaduna State. 


According to local sources, the assailants stormed the farm and killed Mr. Jarumi in cold blood, leaving the community devastated.


His untimely death has left the community reeling in grief and fear.


The community is calling for urgent intervention and improved security measures to prevent further attacks.
