 LAGOS-IBADAN  KARA BRIDGE ACCIDENT: NO CASUALTY AS  CONTAINER TRUCK CRASHES INTO SIX VEHICLES The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA, has confirmed that no life was lost and no one susttained injury when a 40-foot container truck crashed into six other vehicles at Kara Bridge, inward OPIC, along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Tuesday morning.  The statement says the container truck, which had no registration number, reportedly developed a mechanical fault while in motion, lost control and rammed into the other vehicles. It notes seven vehicles were involved in the crash but the LASEMA’s LRT Tiger Squad, stationed at C3, responded alongside police who moved quickly to manage the scene to prevent another accident.  Don't pay attention to busybodies, bystanders, Tinubu urges Wike


President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has urged the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, to remain committed to his developmental efforts in the FCT and pay no attention to critics or distractions.


Speaking on Tuesday during the inauguration of the newly renovated International Conference Centre in Abuja, now renamed the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre, the President commended Wike’s performance and advised him to ignore what he described as “busybodies and bystanders.”


He said: “Don’t pay attention to the busybodies and the bystanders. Whatever they say, continue with your good work. You are a transformational leader. You have the voice, foresight, vision, and determination to succeed."
