 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom.  Governors’ Forum Condemns Killings in Benue Communities, Pledges Support for Peace


The Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) has vehemently condemned the recent killings in Yelewata and Daudu communities in Guma Local Government Area of Benue State, describing the act as a “grievous affront to human dignity.”


In a statement issued on Monday by NGF Chairman, Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq of Kwara State, the forum expressed solidarity with the bereaved families and the Benue State government. “We stand in unwavering solidarity with those grieving at this time of profound sorrow,” the statement read. “We pray for the peaceful repose of the departed, divine comfort for families, speedy recovery for the injured, and resilience for survivors.”


The NGF pledged its full cooperation to assist the Benue State government and relevant authorities in restoring peace and security in the affected areas. It also called on Nigerians, regardless of creed or affiliation, to denounce such brutality and work toward a nation built on peace, justice, and mutual respect.


The forum extended its condolences to Benue State Governor Hyacinth Alia, the government, and the people of the state for the devastating attack on the two communities, urging collective action to prevent further violence.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
