"If Anything Happens To Me, Kaduna State Government Should Be Held Responsible" — PDP Stalwart Alleges Threat From Governor’s Aide Over Facebook Post

Engr. Auwal Bz Nuhu, a stalwart of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Kaduna State, has accused the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on New Media, Mr. Abdullah Yunus Abdullah, of threatening him over a Facebook post.

According to Engr. Nuhu, the Facebook post in question alleged that the Kaduna State Government raided the Abakwa community and demolished approximately 40 houses, including mosques. He claims that following the post, Mr. Abdullah called and threatened him over the content.

In response, Mr. Abdullah denied making any threats. He stated that his call was simply to clarify that the demolition was not carried out by the state government and to advise Engr. Nuhu to verify information before sharing it on social media.

However, Engr. Nuhu stood by his claim, insisting that he was explicitly threatened during the phone call.

The exchange has since sparked continued back-and-forth between both parties and their supporters, further heightening political tensions in the state.
