 A Tennessee woman had to have her leg amputated after being attacked by her own dog. This terrifying incident occurred in the Murfreesboro, Tennessee home of 42-year-old Amanda Mears.  On the evening of December 10th, Amanda was preparing to take her dog, a Pit Bull/ American Staffordshire mix, named "Dennis" out for a walk.  As the two were making their way to the door, Amanda's other dog Ralphie, an American Bully, escaped from the room she was keeping him in.  In the blink of an eye, a vicious dog fight erupted. Amanda, who fosters dogs that have been abandoned, is no stranger to dog fights and jumped between the battling dogs in an attempt to stop the fight.  However, this turned out to not be your typical situation.  Jacob Zuma’s daughter, Nomcebo, has reportedly left her marriage to King Mswati III after months without seeing him, a move that has sparked royal concern and revived debate over the personal toll of polygamy in the Eswatini monarchy.


King Mswati’s wife Jacob Zuma’s daughter Nomcebo(22) leaves polygamous marriage saying it’s been months without a husband, royal delegation runs to Nkandla-KwaZulu Natal to negotiate her return.



MBABANE:King Mswati has allegedly sent a royal delegation to Nkandla-KwaZulu Natal, to negotiate the return of his junior wife Inkhosikati Nomcebo Zuma(22) who left the Royal Palace saying she can’t tolerate being in the polygamous marriage where “she stays months without seeing her husband”.

In terms of eSwatini customary law, when a wife disappears(kwemuka), a delegation from the husband’s family is then sent to engage the wife’s family and, negotiate her return.

But the marriage between Nomcebo Zuma and King Mswati was exclusively reported by this publication and indeed, Nomcebo subsequently emerged as the King’s Liphovela(girlfriend) during the uMhlanga Reed Dance ceremony last year.

Efforts to reach Inkhosikati LaZuma’s family proved unsuccessful at the time of compiling this report.

Reached for comments by this Swaziland News on Wednesday, King Mswati’s Spokesperson Percy Simelane said he was not aware that the Inkhosikati has left the Palace but clarified that, his Office was only responsible for the King’s public image not his private matters.

“I am not aware, by design and principle, my Office portfolio does not stretch into the King’s private life, only his public life is my area of interest,” said the King’s Spokesperson.

It has been disclosed that, the royal delegation has been spending days in Nkandla, KwaZulu-Natal, trying to seek an audience with Jacob Zuma who refused to entertain them saying, he was against the marriage in the first place but, ended-up accepting it because his daughter refused to listen.

King Mswati married more than fourteen(14) wives, he has over fifty(50) children.
