 My in-laws have refused me from burying my 7 years old son in his father compound until i hand over all my late husband property to them—- Mrs Chinyere Anadi

ANOTHER WIDOW’S CLASH WITH IN-LAWS:

This is Mrs Chinyere Anadi who hails from Ihiala in Anambra state. According to her story, after the death of her husband, her in-laws came to her in Lagos where she reside and demanded she do an audit and proper handover of all her husbands property to them including his warehouse but she refused.

Upon her refusal to do the audit and proper handover of property, her in-laws went to Arusi Okija to bring a charm and place in her own father’s compound. At first they didn’t know it was her in-laws who dropped the charms there until they recieved a call from Okija that her in-laws reported her to Okija deity and instructed her to do the needful but she still refused to hand over the properties to them.

Unfortunately, her last child who is just 7years old died mysteriously during the time the charm from Okija was still in her own father’s compound, she called her in-laws when the child was sick but none of them came to see him, when he eventually died she also called them to let them know about his death but they told her to do whatever she likes with the corpse.

She came down to the east to bury the little boy in her husband compound but her in-laws refused that the boy will not be buried there until proper audit and handover of all her husband’s properties to them is done. The boy has been in the mortuary for some weeks now.

She is currently seeking for help and justice from the Anambra state ministry of women affairs and social welfare.
