The Nigerian midfielder joined Molde FK from Enyimba just a year ago as one of the promising young talents to move from the NPFL to Europe. However, Daga has appealed the ruling through his lawyer, meaning the decision is not yet legally final and the case will continue through the Norwegian judicial system. In one of the deadliest assaults in recent months, Nigeria has suffered a heartbreaking loss as about 20 soldiers were reportedly killed in the early hours of Tuesday following a surprise attack by heavily armed bandits on a military camp near Bangi, Mariga Local Government Area, Niger State.

According to sources within the security forces who spoke with Command Network, the assailants launched a sudden and coordinated ambush at dawn, catching the troops off guard and sparking a fierce and prolonged gun battle. Despite their courage and resilience, the soldiers were overwhelmed by the superior firepower and numbers of the attackers.

Eyewitnesses described the scene as harrowing, with sounds of gunfire echoing through the surrounding community for hours. The aftermath has left the entire region in mourning, with military families and fellow comrades reeling from the devastating loss.

This tragic incident marks a painful reminder of the mounting threats faced by Nigeria’s armed forces in their ongoing fight against insecurity across the country.

As the nation grieves, calls are growing louder for intensified security measures and renewed support for the brave men and women risking their lives on the frontlines.

May the souls of the fallen heroes rest in peace. They died serving their country with honor.
