 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary.  PRINCE WILLIAM'S FRIEND DIES AFTER SWALLOWING BEE AT POLO GAME


Sunjay Kapur, a friend of UK's Prince William, died on Thursday after a bee flew into his mouth at a polo game.


Kapur, 53, was stung by the bee from inside his body and he suffered a anaphylactic shock that triggered a fatal heart attack.


The billionaire businessman and chairman of global car parts giant, Sona Comstar, earlier on Thursday commiserated with the families of victims that died during an ill-fated Air India plane crash that claimed 241 lives.


“Terrible news of the tragic Air India crash in Ahmedabad,” he wrote on X. “My thoughts and prayers are with all the families affected. May they find strength in this difficult hour.”


Little did Kapur know that he would collapse and die on a polo course moments after commiserating with others.

 

Medical experts say internal bee stings can cause immediate swelling, blockage of the airways, and a sudden drop in blood pressure, resulting in cardiac arrest.
