 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country.  PRINCE WILLIAM'S FRIEND DIES AFTER SWALLOWING BEE AT POLO GAME


Sunjay Kapur, a friend of UK's Prince William, died on Thursday after a bee flew into his mouth at a polo game.


Kapur, 53, was stung by the bee from inside his body and he suffered a anaphylactic shock that triggered a fatal heart attack.


The billionaire businessman and chairman of global car parts giant, Sona Comstar, earlier on Thursday commiserated with the families of victims that died during an ill-fated Air India plane crash that claimed 241 lives.


“Terrible news of the tragic Air India crash in Ahmedabad,” he wrote on X. “My thoughts and prayers are with all the families affected. May they find strength in this difficult hour.”


Little did Kapur know that he would collapse and die on a polo course moments after commiserating with others.

 

Medical experts say internal bee stings can cause immediate swelling, blockage of the airways, and a sudden drop in blood pressure, resulting in cardiac arrest.
