 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom.  Several People Killed in R81 Mooketsi Head-On Collision


A tragic head-on collision between two bakkies on the R81 near Mooketsi in Limpopo has claimed several lives and left others injured on Tuesday, 17 June 2025.


According to preliminary reports, one of the bakkies was transporting firewood when it collided head-on with another bakkie traveling in the opposite direction. The impact was so severe that both vehicles were extensively damaged, with some occupants trapped inside the wreckage.


Emergency services responded swiftly to the scene, where some individuals were declared dead, while others were stabilised and transported to nearby hospitals for urgent medical treatment. The exact number of fatalities is yet to be confirmed, as authorities continue with investigations.


Motorists using the route were advised to exercise caution as recovery operations continued.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
