 KADIRS Warns Residents Against Fake Revenue Collectors, Introduces E-Demand Notice As Sole Payment Authorization The Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS) has cautioned taxpayers and residents of Kaduna State against making revenue payments without first obtaining an official E-Demand Notice (Pay Advice), warning that fraudsters may exploit outdated payment processes to defraud the public. In a public announcement issued on Thursday, KADIRS said the move forms part of its ongoing efforts to automate revenue collection and enhance transparency across the state.  The agency disclosed that manual demand notices previously used for Local Government revenue collection have been phased out and are no longer recognized. According to KADIRS, the E-Demand Notice (Pay Advice) has officially replaced the former Local Government Harmonized Demand Notice and is now the only valid document for on-the-spot taxpayer assessment through the state's Central Billing System.  Olympic gymnastics legend Simone Biles delivered a scathing response to former swimmer Riley Gaines after Gaines mocked a 17-year-old transgender softball player who helped lead her Minnesota high school team to a state championship. 


  Biles called Gaines "truly sick" and a "straight up sore loser," referencing Gaines' tie for fifth place with transgender swimmer Lia Thomas at the 2022 NCAA Championships. The seven-time Olympic gold medalist didn't stop there, writing: "You should be uplifting the trans community and perhaps finding a way to make sports inclusive... But instead... You bully them." Gaines fired back, defending her stance that "men don't belong in women's sports." This heated exchange highlights the ongoing national debate over transgender athletes in competitive sports. The young softball pitcher, Marissa Rothenberger, threw a complete-game shutout to secure her team's victory.
