 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom.  Tragedy in Osisioma: Bride Abducted, Brother Killed Days Before Wedding


A wedding planned in Osisioma Ngwa Local Government Area turned tragic on Friday, June 20, 2025, when gunmen attacked the bride-to-be’s residence, kidnapping her and killing her brother. The incident, which occurred around 8:00 p.m. near Ariaria Junction, has left the community in mourning.


The bride, Uzoamaka Joseph Aliu, was abducted by unknown assailants during the violent attack. Her brother, Chibueze Franklin Joseph, who was actively involved in preparations for the upcoming wedding, was fatally shot. The wedding, scheduled to take place shortly after the incident, was immediately canceled.


Chibueze’s body has been deposited at Alanwemadu Mortuary near Arongwa, while the family is desperately working to secure Uzoamaka’s release. Residents of the community have expressed profound shock and grief over the senseless act, which has cast a pall over the area.


The Abia State Police Command has yet to release an official statement, but investigations are expected to be underway to apprehend the perpetrators and rescue the abducted bride.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
