 FIRST IMPORTED EBOLA CASE: NIGERIA EVACUATES INDEX CASE TO SWITZERLAND AS CONTAINMENT MEASURES CONTINUE The Nigeria’s confirmed Ebola index case has been medically evacuated from Abuja to Switzerland, following approval by the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Professor Muhammad Ali Pate. The forty-two-year-old patient, whose case marked Nigeria’s first imported Ebola virus disease case, was transferred alongside her spouse, who has remained asymptomatic. In a statement posted on his X handle, Professor Pate said the patient was clinically much improved, stable, conscious and able to communicate, with laboratory test results approaching baseline levels. However, the Minister cautioned that the patient’s clinical improvement does not necessarily mean she is no longer infectious, stressing that strict public health protocols remain in place.  Why the Aláàfin Hasn't Visited the Ọọ̀ni – Aide Clarifies


An aide to the Aláàfin has addressed concerns surrounding the monarch’s absence from the Ọọ̀ni’s palace during recent visits to other traditional rulers. According to the aide, “We didn’t ignore the Ọọ̀ni during the visit. We reached out to the palace but were informed that the Ọọ̀ni was not available. In fact, the Ọọ̀ni’s palace was the first on our initial itinerary, but due to the situation, we had to proceed to visit the Oluwo first.”


It’s worth noting that the Aláàfin, following his coronation, has visited several prominent monarchs across Nigeria, but his apparent omission of Ilé Ifẹ̀ has not gone unnoticed. Some observers also pointed out that when the Aláàfin and the Ọọ̀ni crossed paths in Ìbàdàn shortly after the Aláàfin’s installation, there was no clear gesture of deference, fueling speculations of a silent rift which Aláàfin has denied.


This perceived tension has sparked public curiosity about when the Aláàfin will finally pay a formal courtesy visit to the Ọọ̀ni in Ilé Ifẹ̀. Meanwhile, reports indicate that the Ọọ̀ni recently traveled to Kazakhstan to represent the African continent, which may also account for the delayed meeting.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
