 KADIRS Warns Residents Against Fake Revenue Collectors, Introduces E-Demand Notice As Sole Payment Authorization The Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS) has cautioned taxpayers and residents of Kaduna State against making revenue payments without first obtaining an official E-Demand Notice (Pay Advice), warning that fraudsters may exploit outdated payment processes to defraud the public. In a public announcement issued on Thursday, KADIRS said the move forms part of its ongoing efforts to automate revenue collection and enhance transparency across the state.  The agency disclosed that manual demand notices previously used for Local Government revenue collection have been phased out and are no longer recognized. According to KADIRS, the E-Demand Notice (Pay Advice) has officially replaced the former Local Government Harmonized Demand Notice and is now the only valid document for on-the-spot taxpayer assessment through the state's Central Billing System.  Tragic Loss: Woman Killed in Road Accident Days Before Reunion With Mother After 30 Years


A devastating road accident at Edjeba Junction near DBS, Warri, has claimed the life of Vivian Temi, a woman who was just days away from reuniting with her mother after more than three decades apart.


According to a report by Trish, the incident occurred on Thursday, June 5, as Temi was returning from the Nigerian Immigration Office. She had been making preparations for the long-awaited reunion with her mother, whom she had not seen in over 30 years.


Eyewitnesses allege that the accident was caused by a high-speed convoy belonging to an unidentified individual. The convoy, described as "reckless" and "overspeeding," reportedly crashed into the vehicle Temi was traveling in.


She was pronounced dead at the scene.


Temi, who would have celebrated her birthday on June 25, was widely known for her gentle spirit and love for children. Friends and members of her community have taken to social media and local gatherings to mourn her, remembering her as warm, soft-spoken, and deeply compassionate.


She is survived by her children and extended family.
