 Chris Brown Avoids Jail After London Nightclub Attack, Gets 8-Month Suspended Sentence Chris Brown will not be going to prison for now after a London court sentenced him over a nightclub attack that left music producer Abraham Diaw injured. The American singer, 37, was sentenced at Southwark Crown Court on Monday, October 26, receiving eight months in prison, suspended for 12 months. His co-defendant, rapper HoodyBaby, whose real name is Omololu Akinlolu, 40, received a four-month suspended sentence, also for 12 months. Both were ordered to pay £1,500 in costs. The case dates back to February 19, 2023 at Tape nightclub in Mayfair, London, where Brown admitted attacking Diaw with a tequila bottle. CCTV footage showed the producer being struck twice on the head, hit on the shoulder, chased, pushed to the floor and kicked while down. YENI KUTI, AND PDP CHIEFTAIN, SEGUN SOWUNMI, ALMOST CLASHED ON NATIONAL TV TODAY JUNE 10.(VIDEO/PHOTO).

Media personality, Yeni Kuti, and PDP chieftain, Segun Sowunmi, almost clashed on national TV today June 10. Segun was a guest on TVC’s Your View, where he was being interviewed on his recent visit to President Tinubu.


Sowunmi shocked many over the weekend when he paid a visit to President Tinubu in his Lagos residence during the Sallah holiday. Sowunmi had been very critical of the Tinubu government and never missed an opportunity to express his reservation.


Many Nigerians felt that his recent visit is a preamble to defecting to the APC.


During his interview, Ms Kuti posed a question to Sowunmi, asking when he would be defecting.


‘’You had a lot of criticism for the President. Now you are tune seems to have changed. So when is your own move? When are you leaving PDP to APC’’ Ms. Yeni had asked


A visibly irritated Sowunmi left the presenters stunned by his response.


‘’Although I can’t see who is asking that question. I didn’t come to your programme so you can try to be cheeky with me. Stop that! 


Yeni immediately responded saying she cannot be cheeky with him because she knows she is older than him. When he finally found out that it was Ms Kuti that asked the question, he said ‘’Oh sister ooo! My Aunty! I take that back. Please do not be angry’’
