Blaming opposition for hunger is ‘delusion’, Atiku tells Tinubu Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has accused President Bola Tinubu of blaming the opposition for the country’s economic hardship. He said the President was trying to evade responsibility for his administration’s policies. Tinubu had earlier on Saturday blamed his political opponents for hunger and poverty in the country while speaking at the All Progressives Congress presidential campaign flag-off in Kaduna. “I hear my opponent talking about hunger, poverty. Who created it? They did! They created the hunger, they created the poverty. We are trying to eradicate it,” the President said. Atiku, the presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress, said Nigerians were entitled to demand answers from the APC-led government over rising living costs, poverty, insecurity and questions surrounding public expenditure. A BELOVED HORSE FOLLOWED THE HEARSE CARRYING AN 8-YEAR-OLD VICTIM OF THE TEXAS FLOODS.(PHOTOS).

 A beloved horse followed the hearse carrying an 8-year-old victim of the Texas Floods.


In a sweet and heartbreaking tribute to Virginia Hollis, her grandfather led her horse, 'Salt Valley', behind the hearse during her funeral procession on Wednesday, July 16th.


Virginia was one of the 27 people from Camp Mystic who lost their lives in the July 4th floods. It was several painful days before authorities were able to locate and recover Virginia.


Her funeral was held in Bellville, Texas on Wednesday. Residents lined the streets to show respect for the young girl taken away much too soon. 


Virginia's parents say she was a little cowgirl who loved the rodeo. It only seems fitting that her horse be present as she was laid to rest. 


Our thoughts are with the family of Virginia Hollis and all the families picking up the pieces after that devastating day.
