EL-RUFAI TO REMAIN IN CUSTODY AS COURT ADJOURNS BAIL APPLICATION TO APRIL 14.(PHOTO).

 El-Rufai to remain in custody as court adjourns bail application to April 14 Justice Rilwanu Aikawa of a Federal High Court in Kaduna has adjourned the hearing of the bail application filed by former Kaduna State governor, Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai, to April 14th. The bail application of the former governor came up before the court today. April 1. The court adjourned the case after listening to arguments from both the defence and prosecution  El-Rufai was arraigned by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) on a 10-count charge bordering on alleged conversion of public property and money laundering. He pleaded not guilty to all the charges. The court ordered that he remain in ICPC custody pending the hearing of his bail application on the fixed date. The former governor arrived at the court premises around 9:00 a.m. in a black Hilux vehicle, accompanied by DSS officials.

A MINNESOTA MAN HAS TRAGICALLY LOST HIS LIFE WHILE PARTICIPATING IN A DEMOLITION DERBY AT THE COUNTY FAIR.(PHOTO).

 A Minnesota man has tragically lost his life while participating in a demolition derby at the county fair.


Josh Wines was participating in the final race of the night on Thursday evening. The Isanti County Fair Dubbed the event, "The Night of Destruction."


At a point during the event, Josh's vehicle flipped over, trapping him inside.


First responders arrived on the scene and were able to free Josh and began immediate lifesaving efforts. Josh was eventually airlifted to North Memorial Hospital in the Twin Cities.


Josh fought very hard to survive... but sadly he succumbed to his injuries on Saturday, July 19th. 


Josh and his wife were getting ready to enjoy a honeymoon together. Our thoughts are with Josh's family and loved ones.

 How Suspected Phone Snatchers Killed Army Lieutenant In Kaduna  An army officer identified as Lieutenant IM Abubakar has reportedly been hacked to death by a gang that specialises in phone snatching and other crimes. The deceased was killed in the Unguwan Sarki area of Kaduna metropolis during the week. A popular counter-insurgency expert and security analyst in Lake Chad, Zagazola Makama disclosed this in a Twitter post. Makama described Abubakar as a talented officer.  He said, “Lt IM Abubakar(Isa) A Young Talented Army Officer Was Killed By Phone Snatchers on His Way Home In Unguwan Sarki, Kaduna. May his soul rest in peace.”
