 A priest in Anambra State wedded a couple yesterday, despite disputes with the bride’s father In a video circulating online, the Reverend Father narrated that The father of the bride who is from Nteje had insisted that the wedding should not take place unless his daughter swøre never to associate with his mother whom he has a quarrel with. The conflict arose from past marriage issues between the father and her mother. Before the wedding, the father repeatedly met with the priest, warning that he had already taken the bride's mother to a deity and that the girl must follow him to the shrine to appease that deity before the marriage can go on. For peace to prevail, the priest advised the couple to comply with all the father’s requests so the wedding could proceed, the priest even donated some of the items that the brides father told her to bring to use in appeasing the deity.  Anambra PDP Candidate who was shot in Abuja by hoodlums, was visited by Governor of Bauchi State and other PDP Members.


The Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed, has visited Hon. Jude Ezenwafor, the PDP governorship candidate for Anambra State, who is recovering in Abuja after being shot by unknown gunmen.


He was accompanied by Acting National Chairman of PDP Umar Damagum and other officials, Governor Mohammed expressed sympathy and assured Ezenwafor of the party’s full support ahead of the November 2025 election.


Anambra PDP Chairman, Hon. Chidi Chidebe, thanked the delegation for the visit and praised the party’s leadership, reaffirming the unity and resilience of the state chapter.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
