 Okpoko Building Collapse: Ojukwu Condemns Illegal Structure, Orders Demolition ‎ ‎By Chukwuka Ugokwe ‎ ‎The Anambra State Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Bar. Chijioke Ojukwu, has on Oct 8, described the collapse of a three-storey building under construction in Okpoko, Ogbaru Local Government Area, as unfortunate. ‎ ‎The incident, which occurred in the Anata Anaba area of the town, claimed the lives of a middle-aged woman and her 14-year-old daughter, amid allegations that warnings about the safety of the building had been ignored. ‎ ‎The victims, identified as Happiness Ugoagu and her daughter, Chikaima, were reportedly asleep in their bedroom when the building collapsed onto their residence. ‎ ‎Ojukwu, who visited the scene alongside officials of the ministry, alleged that substandard materials had been used in the construction.  Anthony Joshua Hints at Retirement in 2025 After 12-Year Boxing Career


London, UK – British boxing star Anthony Joshua has suggested that 2025 could mark the end of his professional boxing career, according to comments made during an interview on 'The Ariel Helwani Show' on July 28, 2025. The 35-year-old former heavyweight champion, who suffered a fifth-round knockout loss to Daniel Dubois in September 2024, hinted that his next fight could be his last.


Joshua, who turned professional in 2013, paid tribute to his long-time promoters, MatchRoom Boxing, during the interview. “Long may you reign supreme and keep giving fighters opportunities to become champions and make boxing great,” he said. Reflecting on his career, he added, “12 years ago, I signed with you, and 12 years later, I will throw my last punch with you.”


The statement has sparked speculation that Joshua, a two-time former unified heavyweight champion, may retire after his next bout, expected later in 2025. Fans and analysts await further details on his upcoming fight and whether it will indeed be his final appearance in the ring.
