 TROOPS APPREHEND SUSPECTED TERRORIST COLLABORATORS, FAMILY OF ISWAP FINANCE CHIEF SURRENDERS, RECOVER LOGISTICS ITEMS Troops of Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK) have continued to sustain pressure on  terrorists through series of intelligence-led operations that resulted in the arrest of suspected terrorist collaborators, the surrender of the family members of a senior ISWAP commander, and the recovery of terrorist logistics items. In one of the operations conducted on 27 July 2026, troops of 5 Brigade arrested six ISWAP collaborators in Damasak, Borno State. Preliminary investigations revealed that the suspects were allegedly generating funds for the terrorist group through the procurement and sale of cattle at designated markets in Gubio, Damasak and Ajuwango. Items recovered from the suspects included one Volkswagen Golf vehicle, vehicle keys, four mobile phones of different brands, cow meat and the sum of ₦317,950.00.  APC Members Protest, Demand Removal of Lagos State Party Chairman


Members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State are currently staging a protest in front of the State House of Assembly, calling for the removal of the state party chairman, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi.


According to The Punch, the protesters — who include representatives from all 57 local government areas in the state — were seen carrying placards with inscriptions such as “Ojelabi Must Go” and “We Need New Leadership.”


The protest, which began earlier this Monday morning, has drawn significant attention from security agencies, with police officers occupying the Assembly complex to prevent any outbreak of violence or unrest.
