 Germany and Austria to tap oil reserves after 400 million barrels requested  Germany and Austria announced they are releasing portions of their oil reserves in response to an International Energy Agency request for member nations to collectively release 400 million barrels to help ease rising energy prices linked to the Iran conflict. Japan also said it will begin releasing part of its reserves starting Monday. The move marks one of the largest coordinated releases of emergency oil stocks in history. The previous record came in 2022, when IEA members released 182.7 million barrels following the energy disruptions caused by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Member countries currently hold over 1.2 billion barrels of public emergency oil stocks, along with an additional 600 million barrels of industry stocks maintained under government requirements. Bechem United captain Francis Twene has alleged that his recent absence from the Ghana Premier League was the result of a spiritual attack orchestrated by some of his own teammates.


“I was told directly by some of them that I didn’t deserve to be captain and they would do everything to bring me down, even if it means using spiritual means,” Twene stated on Fakye TV in an interview.


According to him, the mysterious health issues he experienced were not physical but spiritual. 


“I went to my spiritual father for help, and after several prayer sessions and spiritual diagnoses, he confirmed that what I was going through was not physical—it was a spiritual attack. 


"He said it was juju, and it was from people close to me—specifically my teammates.”


Twene revealed that he spent two weeks undergoing intense spiritual healing at his church. 


“It was a tough two weeks. I was weak, in pain, and confused. But I thank God I survived. It could have ended my career,” he added.
