Just Few weeks after the wife of the missing Anambra billionaire, BigBen, cried out for the intervention of President Bola Tinubu over the case of her missing husband, the Coalition of Nigerian Youth Leaders (CONYL), have also appealed to President Bola Tinubu to instruct the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, and other security agencies to conduct a thorough investigation into Ezemma’s disappearance.
In a statement released on Thursday in Awka, signed by CONYL President-General, Comrade Ibem Goodluck, the group expressed deep concern over the incident, describing Ezemma as a respected businessman and father of three young children, all under the age of five.
“We will not remain silent in the face of such injustice. Every moment counts. We stand in full solidarity with Mr. Ezemma’s family and demand swift government action,”
According to the statement, Ezemma, was reportedly last seen after honouring an invitation to a hotel meeting with a candidate in the upcoming 2025 Anambra governorship election. He has not been seen or heard from since.
CONYL maintained that the situation goes beyond a personal tragedy or state matter, stressing that it highlights broader issues related to national security and the rule of law
The coalition urged all relevant authorities to leave no stone unturned in uncovering the circumstances surrounding Ezemma’s disappearance and ensuring his safe return.
