 El-Rufai to remain in custody as court adjourns bail application to April 14 Justice Rilwanu Aikawa of a Federal High Court in Kaduna has adjourned the hearing of the bail application filed by former Kaduna State governor, Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai, to April 14th. The bail application of the former governor came up before the court today. April 1. The court adjourned the case after listening to arguments from both the defence and prosecution  El-Rufai was arraigned by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) on a 10-count charge bordering on alleged conversion of public property and money laundering. He pleaded not guilty to all the charges. The court ordered that he remain in ICPC custody pending the hearing of his bail application on the fixed date. The former governor arrived at the court premises around 9:00 a.m. in a black Hilux vehicle, accompanied by DSS officials.

 Eze Dr. AMB, Chukwudi Ihenetu(The Ezendigbo of Ghana 1) is building the first Igbo village(Obi Ndi Igbo)in Ghana.


According to to him, he wants create an Igbo village which has never happened in the world among the Igbo people, he has already acquired 50 acres of land which is about 250 plots of land for the construction of this Ama Ndi Igbo in Ghana.


He also mentioned some of the structures and facilities that will be built in this proposed Igbo village which includes;


(A) Eze Ndi Igbo Palace

(B) Igbo Town hall with 2,000 seating capacity 

(C)100 rooms guest house for special guests like igbo Governors, senators and great leaders.

(D) Streets that will be named after Igbo icons and leaders (dead and alive)

(E) Igbo Market

(F) Igbo Schools

(G) Igbo Garden and farms land

(H) other Accommodation facilities

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
