 South Korean police seek arrest warrant for Hybe chairman Bang Si-Hyuk over alleged $100 million investor fraud scheme    South Korean police are seeking an arrest warrant for Bang Si-Hyuk, the billionaire music executive behind K-pop powerhouse Hybe and BTS, as part of an expanding investigation into allegations that he improperly benefited from an investor scheme involving more than $100 million. Authorities said they have asked prosecutors to pursue a court warrant for Bang’s arrest as they continue probing claims that he misled investors in 2019. Investigators allege he told investors that Hybe had no plans for an initial public offering, leading them to sell shares to a private equity fund. The company later went public, and police suspect a separate arrangement may have resulted in Bang receiving a substantial payout tied to post-IPO stock profits. FG Completes 135 Road Projects Across Northern Nigeria – Minister


The Minister of Transportation, Saidu Ahmed Alkali, has disclosed that the Federal Government has completed 135 road projects across northern Nigeria as part of its infrastructure renewal drive.

Speaking on 30 July 2025 during the 2-day interactive session organised by the Sir Ahmadu Bello Foundation, the Minister said 216 additional road construction projects are currently ongoing in the region.


He further revealed that 312 road maintenance projects have been completed, while 50 others are in progress.

According to the Minister, several legacy projects cutting across many states are underway, including the Sokoto–Badagry Superhighway, Lagos–Calabar Coastal Highway, Calabar–Abuja Superhighway, and the Akwanga–Jos–Bauchi–Gombe Road.


In the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), 14 road projects have been completed and commissioned. Other completed projects include the Greater Abuja Water Supply Network Project, the construction or rehabilitation of numerous primary and secondary schools, and the commissioning of three world-class bus terminals.

He added that several other road construction, rehabilitation, and expansion works are ongoing across the country in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda.
