 GOVERNOR ABBA  YUSUF SACKS  KANO STATE HEAD OF SERVICE   The Executive Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has relieved the State Head of Service, Abdullahi Musa, of his appointment with immediate effect. In a statement  by the Director General, Media and Publicity to the Governor, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the decision is part of the ongoing efforts by the present administration to reposition the state civil service for greater efficiency, discipline, and improved service delivery across all government institutions. Governor Yusuf expressed appreciation to the outgoing Head of Service for his contributions and dedication to the service of the State  The statement further directed that Bilkisu Shehu Maimota, the Permanent Secretary, Admin and General Services at the Cabinet Office, to serve in an  acting capacity pending the appointment of a substantive Head of Service.  Ghanaian billionaire Richard Nii Armarh Quaye to open a special restaurant where people can walk in and eat for free


Richard Nii Amarh Quaye has announced a new initiative to tackle food insecurity in Ghana, unveiling plans to launch a nationwide Food Bank Project starting August 1, 2025.


“This project reflects my lifelong commitment to uplifting as many Ghanaians as possible, ensuring no one is left behind,” Quaye stated. 


“Like Abraham Maslow, who placed food as a fundamental need in his Hierarchy of Needs, I believe all of us see access to food as a basic human right.”


The Food Bank will deliver free, nutritious meals to vulnerable individuals through a vast network of food vendors and distribution centres across the country.


Spearheaded by the Richard Nii Amarh Quaye Foundation, the project is driven by a personal mission to serve others.


As a serial entrepreneur and philanthropist, Quaye’s consistent impact in business and social intervention continues to touch thousands of lives nationwide.
