 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom.  I don’t like being told what to do – Moliy on why she is still independent


Ghanaian musician Moliy says the biggest reason she’s remained independent is her strong dislike for being creatively controlled. 


For her, freedom to express herself without interference is non-negotiable.


“The most freeing part is just getting to do what I want creatively without someone telling me what to do. 


"I don’t like being told what to do,” she said in an interview with Revolt T, passionately defending her artistic space.


While she doesn’t rule out working with a record label in the future, Moliy stressed that it would have to be on her terms — a genuine and lasting relationship that respects her voice.


“I don’t just wanna be a name on a list. Music is very personal to me,” she added.


“So, I think if I did get locked in with a label, I hope it’s something that could be a real, long-lasting, organic relationship.”


She also highlighted the discipline required as an independent artist.


“If you’re not pushing yourself, if you’re not putting your foot on the gas, no one is gonna do it for you,” Moliy noted.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
