 Zango Kataf, Jaba PDP Committees Hold Reconciliation Meeting Ahead Of 2027 Elections The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Working Committees in Zango Kataf and Jaba Local Government Areas have held a strategic reconciliation meeting aimed at strengthening party unity and positioning the party for success in the 2027 general elections. The meeting, held on Friday, July 31, 2026, in Jaba Local Government Area, was jointly chaired by the PDP Chairmen of Jaba and Zango Kataf LGAs, Sabastine David Bijiri and Martins Markus Koyah. It brought together party executives, stakeholders, ward officials, elders, youth and women leaders, as well as members from both local government areas. Speaking at the meeting, the Zango Kataf PDP Chairman commended party leaders and members for supporting the zoning of the party’s House of Representatives ticket to Zango Kataf Local Government Area.  I don’t like being told what to do – Moliy on why she is still independent


Ghanaian musician Moliy says the biggest reason she’s remained independent is her strong dislike for being creatively controlled. 


For her, freedom to express herself without interference is non-negotiable.


“The most freeing part is just getting to do what I want creatively without someone telling me what to do. 


"I don’t like being told what to do,” she said in an interview with Revolt T, passionately defending her artistic space.


While she doesn’t rule out working with a record label in the future, Moliy stressed that it would have to be on her terms — a genuine and lasting relationship that respects her voice.


“I don’t just wanna be a name on a list. Music is very personal to me,” she added.


“So, I think if I did get locked in with a label, I hope it’s something that could be a real, long-lasting, organic relationship.”


She also highlighted the discipline required as an independent artist.


“If you’re not pushing yourself, if you’re not putting your foot on the gas, no one is gonna do it for you,” Moliy noted.
