 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary.  Soludo Appoints a native of Osun state and Abia State as Anambra Permanent Secretary and Accountant general respectively.


Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, has appointed Joachim Achor, from Abia State, as the Accountant General of Anambra in his effort for inclusivity in the civil service.


Similarly, Soludo recently appointed Adebayo Ojeyinka, a native of Osun State, as a Permanent Secretary in a move the governor said further underscored his commitment to a diverse and competence-driven civil service.


This appointment marks a departure from the longstanding tradition of reserving top government positions exclusively for state indigenes.
