 A Texas man is being charged with m*rder after he shot an armed home intruder who forced his way into his home. This alarming incident occurred on the evening of Friday, January 9th; in Big Springs, Texas.  On the night in question, the Big Springs Police Department responded to a home after receiving a 911 call. Upon their arrival, they were met outside by 43-year-old Joel Florez, pictured below. While questioning Florez, they learned that there was a gunshot victim inside of the home. When officers made their way into the home they discovered 36-year-old Phillip Lozano deceased from a gunshot wound. During the ensuing investigation, they learned Lozano had forced his way into the home while armed with a weapon. Once inside the home, Florez shot Lozano, causing a fatal injury.  For unknown reasons, officers determined there was probable cause to charge Joel Florez with homicide in the death of Philip Lozano. HEROIC TEXAS WOMAN DIES WHILE TRYING TO HELP HER BOYFRIEND AFTER HE WAS STRUCK BY A VEHICLE WHILE BICYCLING. (PHOTO).

 Heroic Texas woman dies while trying to help her boyfriend after he was struck by a vehicle while bicycling. 


Krystal Calvillo sadly lost her life along with her boyfriend Daniel Perez when the two were struck by a hit and run driver on July 1st. 


The tragic incident occurred in Harris County, Texas where Krystal and Daniel were enjoying an evening bike ride. 


As the couple were riding their bikes, Daniel was struck by a vehicle in the southbound lane of Veterans Memorial Drive. 


When Krystal saw that Daniel had been struck by a vehicle she rushed across the road to render aid. As Krystal knelt beside Daniel, an unknown vehicle sped onto the scene, fatally striking both Krystal and Daniel. 


Daniel and Krystal were both taken to a nearby hospital where they were both pronounced deceased.


The driver who initially struck Daniel remained on scene and has fully cooperated with authorities. 


The second driver who struck both Daniel and Krystal immediately fled the scene.


Krystal, who was a loving mother of two children, is being remembered as a hero who sacrificed her own life in an attempt to save Daniel's life.


Police are searching for the driver who took the lives of this couple and are asking for any witnesses to please come forward to local authorities in Harris County, Texas.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity.
