  Chikun/Kajuru Rep, Hon. Fidelix Bagudu, Announces New Appointments To Strengthen Inclusive Governance The Honourable Member representing the Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency, Hon. Fidelix Joseph Bagudu, has announced a wide-ranging list of new appointments aimed at deepening inclusive governance and enhancing representation across the constituency. The appointments, which take immediate effect, were unveiled in alignment with Kaduna State Governor Senator Uba Sani’s commitment to participatory governance. According to the lawmaker’s office, the list reflects deliberate efforts to ensure fair representation of all wards, communities, and interest groups across Chikun and Kajuru Local Government Areas (LGAs).  “How Is This Even Okay?” – Mercy Johnson Questions Ghanaian TV Station for Airing Her New Movie Without Consent


Nollywood actress  Mercy Johnson is the next filmmaker to lash out at a Ghanaian-based television station on social media. 


She took to the internet to express her dissatisfaction after the TV station, Blazing TV, aired her latest movie, The Firstborn, which premiered on Thursday, July 18, 2025. 


Addressing her frustration on her Facebook page, the actress criticized the television station for airing her movie without her consent.


She noticed that a fan took a photo as the television network that aired the movie on their channel downloaded it from her YouTube channel. 


Mercy Johnson questioned why a media house would air her newly released movie without permission. 


In a post the social media post, she wrote,   "GHANA BLAZING TV. How is this even ok? BLAZING TV in Ghana is showing my movie THE FIRSTBORN on their TV without my consent. How does this even make sense? How?"
