  A manhunt is underway for man who shot a Granite City Police Officer multiple times. Officers in Granite City, Illinois, responded to a call regarding a unwanted subject near the 2000 block of Johnson Road at 2:20 p.m. on Friday, December 5th. Upon arrival, officers attempted to make contact with the suspect. The suspect opened fire on officers before fleeing the scene.  Unfortunately, one officer was struck multiple times. The officer was rushed to a St. Louis University Hospital. He is expected to make a full recovery.  A massive manhunt is now underway to locate the suspect. Authorities warn the public that the man is considered armed and dangerous.  Hulk Hogan Is Dead


Hulk Hogan (born Terry Gene Bollea) passed away on July 24, 2025, at the age of 71. According to multiple reports, including TMZ, he suffered a cardiac arrest at his Clearwater, Florida home and was declared dead after emergency responders were called to the scene.


He had recently undergone neck surgery, and while there were rumours he was critically ill, his wife and representatives had reaffirmed his health status just weeks before his passing  .


A legacy beyond the ring


Hogan was a 12‑time world champion, twice inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, and widely credited with spearheading the rise of “Hulkamania” and the 1980s wrestling boom  .


He crossed over into mainstream entertainment with roles in Rocky III, Gremlins 2, and his reality show "Hogan Knows Best".


Later in his life, he co-founded the emerging wrestling promotion Real American Freestyle, where he served as commissioner  .


His death marks the end of an era in pro-wrestling. May his soul rest in peace
