 COURT RESTRAINS RESIDENT DOCTORS FROM EMBARKING ON STRIKE  The national industrial court Abuja division has restrained all members and agents of the national association of resident doctors from calling, directing, organizing, participating in, and embarking upon any form of industrial action.  Justice Emmanuel Danjuma Subilim gave the order in an interim injunction filed by the federal government through the office of the attorney general of the federation and minister of justice.  The court temporally barred members of the association from embarking on any form of strike, work stoppages, go-slows, picketing, or any other form of industrial protest or disruption. The association is equally restrained from taking steps preparatory to any form of industrial action from the 12th day of january, 2026.  IRANIAN PRESIDENT SUFFERS LEG INJURY FROM ISRAELI MISSILES 


The president of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, was reportedly injured by Israeli missiles during a top government meeting on June 16, 2025.


According to government agencies, Pezeshkian and a few other members of the Supreme National Security Council were injured during a meeting in Tehran after six Israeli missiles hit their location.


Pezeshkian was allegedly wounded in the leg and managed to escape via an emergency hatch. Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf and judiciary chief Mohseni Ejei were also at the meeting.


“The attackers targeted the building’s entrances and exits by firing six bombs or missiles to block escape routes and cut off air flow," the source said. "After the explosions, the electricity on the floor was cut off."

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
