 ‘Friend Of A Thief Is A Thief’, Defence Minister Warns Terrorist Sponsors The Minister of Defence, General Christopher Musa (rtd), has cautioned Nigerians against aiding terrorists, insurgents, bandits, or other criminal elements, stressing that anyone who supports criminal activities will face the full weight of the law. General Musa made the warning on Saturday while speaking as the Special Guest of Honour at the Armed Forces Celebration and Remembrance Day 2026 Golf Tournament held at the TYB Golf Resort and Country Club, Yar’Adua Barracks, Abuja.  Iyabo Ojo’s N1bn suit against me dismissed – Lizzy Anjorin


Actress Lizzy Anjorin is celebrating after a Lagos court reportedly dismissed the N1 billion defamation lawsuit filed against her by colleague Iyabo Ojo.

The lawsuit stemmed from a public spat between the two actresses, which began when Iyabo Ojo shared a humorous video mimicking Lizzy Anjorin.

Lizzy took offense and retaliated by revealing intimate details about Iyabo, accusing her of vile things.

Iyabo demanded a public apology and N500 million in compensation, later filing a N1 billion defamation lawsuit when Lizzy didn’t comply.

Despite Lizzy’s initial absence from court proceedings, which led to court summons being pasted on her residence, the case moved forward.

The court’s dismissal of the lawsuit marks the latest development in the ongoing feud between the two actresses.

Lizzy Anjorin shared the news on her Instagram page. 

She wrote: “BREAKING NEWS !!! IYABO OJO 1 BILLION NAIRA LAW SUIT CASE AGAINST LIZZYANJORIN DISMISSED!!!”.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
