 NDC STATEMENT ON COURT RULING Our attention has been drawn to a ruling by the Federal High Court sitting in Lokoja this morning, wherein His Lordship, Honourable Justice Isah Dashen, gave a ruling on an application filed by an unregistered association known as Peace Movement Party. The public knows that by December 2025, the Nigeria Democratic Congress  as an association complained of INEC’s refusal to register us as a political party, whereupon we proceeded to the Federal High Court. The Federal High Court upheld our constitutional right to freedom of association under the Constitution and compelled INEC to register us, which INEC did. Since then, we have started political activities, embarked on the registration of members, held congresses from ward to national levels, held conventions, and concluded primaries to all offices following INEC’s timetable.  Labour Party Disowns NEC Meeting, Warns Abia Governor Otti


The Julius Abure-led faction of the Labour Party has publicly disavowed a National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of party stakeholders held on Friday, labeling it as illegal, unconstitutional, and void of any effect. In a strongly worded statement, the faction condemned the gathering, asserting it lacked legitimacy and authority within the party’s structure.


The Abure-led leadership specifically cautioned Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, against what it described as the misuse of state resources to fund frivolous activities. The faction accused Otti of involvement in the unauthorized meeting, urging him to focus on governance and refrain from actions that could further deepen divisions within the party.


“The so-called NEC meeting is a nullity and holds no weight in the affairs of the Labour Party,” a spokesperson for the Abure faction stated. “We advise Governor Otti to prioritize the welfare of Abia State citizens and avoid squandering public funds on inconsequential gatherings.”


This development underscores the ongoing internal crisis within the Labour Party, as factions continue to jostle for control ahead of critical political engagements. The Abure-led group maintains its position as the legitimate leadership, while the organizers of Friday’s meeting have yet to respond to the allegations.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
